Just remember, exams are inevitable but the pain and stress it brings can be.

The month before the exam is the most crucial time for everyone. You should modify your usual study schedule and strategies, and make new ones. Your schedule should give more weightage to your weak topics so that you can strengthen them. And you must give time for each subject and take frequent breaks in between your study time. These Subject Wise Tips will be surely helpful for you to make your study schedule and will provide you with tips for managing your time during the exam.

From Practice Papers, Guess Papers, Previous Year Question Papers; try all. Solve everything you can get your hands on, as the saying goes, ‘Practise makes a man perfect’. Even CBSE releases Sample Papers to help students put their efforts in the right direction while they prepare for their exams.

A study has shown that practise tests work better than simply highlighting or re-reading your notes. So, make your own study aids, where you can turn your notes into flashcards and short notes. When you are not in the mood to study, you could simply pick a flashcard or a question paper and take a look at the questions and mentally assess and revise the concepts.

Ensure you get your 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night and don’t forget to take power naps during the day, as a power nap improves learning and memory, prevents stress. You must revise your routine in the same way as it’s going to be during the exam days.

Even the night before the exam, you must take proper rest, as you might not want to fall asleep during the exam. And remember the lack of sleep can make you drowsy and slow your responses.

You should write your answer in clear and legible handwriting so that the evaluator can understand what you are presenting. And a good presentation of your answer will surely leave a good impression about you.

You can lightly study any topic that you’re still struggling with, but don’t use this day (or night) as an intense study session. The day before a test isn’t the day to do all your studying, but a little review can be helpful. You should treat this day mostly as a day to ease yourself. Don’t forget to eat a healthy, and filling breakfast.

Even if you haven’t prepared as much as you hoped, don’t worry and avoid cramming since it’s questionable to remember everything and it might turn into an exhausting session. Confirm you’ve got everything you need for the exam.

During the exam

During the exam prioritize the questions and try attempting the questions that you know first. Never make a mindset that you should be attempting the questions in a specific order because if you follow this patter, you might miss attempting some questions that you knew.
